Android version!
Hot off the press, there is now an Android version of Deep Thrust!
The release is actually making history because it will be the first 3D game made with Godot 3.1 supporting older OpenGL ES 2 Android devices that do not support float texture. This is a lot of hardware that Godot did not support before, and should be supported for everyone once my fix makes it into Godot engine master.
That said, it is quite experimental, I have added support for Arm32 and x86 32 bit, these should be forward compatible to 64 bit (in order to keep APK size down).
There are also no shadows in the current build, and performance may increase in future, however it works quite reasonably on my Google Nexus 7 2012. It also amazingly works on my Android Amlogic A95X TV box which is very picky about shaders. I say works, but the current version only supports touchscreen as there is no support for key input on Android in Godot engine I believe. Yet!! That will be next on my list.
